The 696 Streetcar Restoration team is proud to offer its first embroided
streetcar crest. Designed by the restoration team of volunteers it
features the logo of the 696 Streetcar Restoration Project. This
embroided crest is done in two thread colours, white tread lettering,
and the streetcar and background done in a high quality silver tread
with a unique texture. Over 30,000 stitches were used on these 3 inch
round crests, suitable for wearing on jackets, vests or hats.
This crest is unique in the way the 696 streetcar’s windows change their
grey tint depending on the angle the crest is viewed at.
