With Your Help We Can Get Streetcar 696 Back On The Track!
We have developed five levels of Sponsorship so you can choose the one that is right for you:
Ottawa has had transit service since 1870 when the Ottawa City Passenger Railway Company began with the horse-drawn omnibus. This company soon amalgamated with another to become the Ottawa Electric Railway (OER) Company and electric streetcars were introduced. In 1948, the City of Ottawa purchased OER's assets and continued to operate streetcars until April 30, 1959. At that time, the 696 went into storage until it was brought back to Ottawa in 2000.
An all-volunteer group has been formed and has started to restore 696
for operation so we, with your help, can recreate a piece of living
history for all to ride in and enjoy!

Friends of Streetcar 696
A Friend contributes $100 in cash or in kind.
Friends will have their logos and/or name mentioned in appropriate media, promotional and informational materials and events related to the Streetcar 696 Restoration Project.
In addition to this, Friends will:

Receive public recognition at the Official Inauguration.
Bronze Sponsor
Bronze Sponsors contribute $500 cash or in kind.
Bronze Sponsors will be identified by having their logo and/or name
displayed and mentioned in appropriate media, promotional and
informational materials and events related to the Streetcar 696
Restoration Project.
In addition to this, Bronze Sponsors will:

Have their logo displayed on an interior streetcar ad

Receive public recognition at the Official Inauguration of Streetcar 696
Silver Sponsors
Silver Sponsors contribute to $1,000.00 in cash or in kind.
Silver Sponsors will be identified as such by having their logo and/or
name displayed and mentioned in appropriate media, promotional and
informational materials and events related to the Streetcar 696
Restoration Project.
In addition to this, Silver Sponsors will:

Have their logo displayed on an interior streetcar ad

Receive a framed limited edition print of Streetcar 696, numbered and signed by the artist Peter Cunningham

Receive public recognition at the Official Inauguration of Streetcar 696
Gold Sponsor
Gold Sponsors contribute $2,500.00 in cash or in kind.
Gold Sponsors will be identified by having their logo and/or name displayed and their names mentioned in appropriate media, promotional and informational materials and events related to the Streetcar 696 Restoration Project.
In addition to this, Gold Sponsors will:

Have their logos and/or name on an engraved plaque, which will be displayed in a prominent public location whenever the streetcar is displayed or in operation.

Have their contribution highlighted on a poster to be displayed wherever the streetcar is on display.

Have their logos displayed on an interior streetcar ad

Receive a framed limited edition print of Streetcar 696, numbered and signed by the artist Peter Cunningham.

Platinum Sponsor
Platinum Sponsors contribute $5,000.00 or more, in cash or in kind.
Platinum Sponsors will be identified as such by having their logo and/or name displayed and mentioned in appropriate media, promotional and informational materials and events related to the Streetcar 696 Restoration Project.
In addition to this, Platinum Sponsors will:

Have their logo and/or name on an engraved plaque to be located in a prominent location whenever the streetcar is displayed or in operation.

Have a plaque engraved with their name or logo affixed to a streetcar seat

Have their contribution highlighted on a poster to be displayed wherever the streetcar is on display

Have their logos displayed on an interior streetcar ad

Receive a framed limited edition print of Streetcar 696, numbered and signed by the artist Peter Cunningham

Receive public recognition at the Official Inauguration of Streetcar 696
A tax receipt will be issued for
all
donations of $20 or more, cash or in
kind.
