Low-Floor Buses

Most regular "black" routes use fully-accessible low floor buses and th O-Train is also fully accessible.

However, during rush-hours or due to other circumstances, regular high-floor buses may be assigned to these routes from time-to time.

Low-Floor trips are identified in Bus Stop Schedules and the Travel Planner.

You can also call 613-560-1000 to confirm that your trip will have a low-floor bus.

With recent additions to the Transit fleet, low-floor buses now make up over 50% of OC Transpo vehicles.

OC Transpo conventional transit service does not affect customers’ eligibility to use Para Transpo.

OC Transpo no longer offers free conventional transit service
for customers using a wheelchair, scooter or walker.

However, a new discounted pass is available which reduces the cost of transit
by more than 60% for people with disabilities who also have a low family income.
