Seniors and Community Pass holders on Para Transpo:
An additional $2.50 or two bus tickets is required during peak hours (6:30 a.m. to 8:59 a.m. Monday to Friday). At all other times, an additional $1.50 or one bus ticket is required with a Senior 65+ pass or a Community Pass. A Senior pass must be accompanied by an OC Transpo Senior 65+ photo ID card.

Exact fare is required from all customers upon boarding a Para Transpo vehicle.
Use tickets instead of cash and save.

All passes must be shown to the driver each time a passenger boards.
Your pass is not valid unless it’s accompanied by an OC Transpo photo identification card (excluding ECOPASS). The ID numbers written on the front of the voucher must match the ID numbers on the photo ID Card. ID cards cost $8.25 for Adults and Seniors, and $5.75 for Students.

Rural Service Fares:
If you live in a rural area of the City of Ottawa, your fare will be calculated when you reserve your trip. Depending on the origin or destination of a trip (see map) rural fares may range from $9.50 in rural zone 2, $13.50 in rural zone 3 and $18.50 in rural zone 4, per one way trip.

When fare is paid in combination with a Bus Pass or bus tickets the driver will subtract the appropriate amount from the fare.

For more detailed information on the rural fares please contact the Para Transpo administration office at 613-244-1289
