FREE BUS SERVICE ON CANADA DAY AFTER 9:00 PM

Ottawa- OC Transpo offers free bus service for everyone enjoying Canada Day events after 9:00 p.m. on July 1.

Regular fares are in effect all day on Canada Day till 9:00 p.m. The OC Transpo DayPass is a great way to take the whole family out to Canada Day activities. The DayPass will be accepted as a family pass on both Sunday July 1st and Monday July 2nd. This means that throughout the long weekend, a family of up to six people can travel together all day on a single DayPass for only $5 on Sundays and holidays.

Seniors attending the Mayor's Breakfast at Lansdowne Park on Canada Day can also ride free by showing their breakfast ticket to the OC Transpo operators.

Parking in the centretown area will be very limited due to street closures. OC Transpo offers carefree, car-free travel downtown, especially after 9:00 p.m. when the free service makes it even easier to attend the popular evening show and fireworks display.

OC Transpo DayPasses are available at 400 vendors throughout the City. Trip planning and schedule information are available by phone at 741-4390, on the web at www.octranspo.com and by dialing 560-1000 plus the bus stop number to reach OC Transpo's automated schedule information system.
