Bank Street bus detours adjusted starting December 18

Ottawa – OC Transpo will make adjustments to the Bank Street bus detours starting Tuesday, December 18, in order to bring service closer to Bank Street businesses.

Routes 1, 4 and 7 will be adjusted to travel southbound via O’Connor Street, between Wellington Street and Gladstone Avenue, instead of via Bank Street, Laurier Avenue and Lyon Street. Route 2 will continue to travel southbound from Wellington Street via Bank Street, Laurier Avenue, and Lyon Street, while all northbound service for routes 1, 2, 4 and 7 will remain on Kent Street to Laurier Avenue and Bank Street. Temporary bus stops will be installed along O’Connor Street. These detours will continue until the Bank Street closures are lifted.
