Ottawa –
On Sunday, April 20,
OC Transpo will introduce new spring schedules and reinstate the Rack &
Roll program.
Starting April 20, OC Transpo will adjust service to reflect the lower
seasonal demand. New spring schedules go into effect on most routes.
Minor reductions mainly affect peak period routes and service to
colleges and universities to coincide with the end of their regular
school year. New printed timetables are available at OC Transpo Sales
and Information Centres, through the mail by calling 613-741-4390, and
at
www.octranspo.com.
In Orléans route 32 will be extended along Lakeridge to Vistapark in
order to reduce walking distances for customers, and route 94 will be
increased to operate every 15 minutes in most weekday time periods.
Route 117 will be suspended April 29 to coincide with the end of the
post-secondary school year, but will resume in September.
Rack & Roll returns April 20 for another season. Cyclists can bring
their bikes on any OC Transpo bus equipped with a bike rack. Racks are
available on more than 250 buses and eight designated routes.
