On Para Transpo trips, Access Pass holders need to pay a fare top-up of $2.40 cash.
Community Discount Changes
New Community single-ride fare
- Community e-Purse fare ($1.75 in 2019) is half the cost of the regular fare
- Discount available on Presto and ParaPay only
- Monthly Community pass still best value for frequent riders
The Community pass used to be available to either Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) recipients or Para Transpo customers. The Community fare type is now available only to ODSP recipients.
In order take advantage of Community Discount, you need to:
- Receive benefits under the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
- Live in Ottawa
Getting your discount set up
- Fill in the appropriate pass application form:
- Bring your completed application to an OC Transpo Customer Service Centre along with the following documents:

To make sure you don't lose your discount, visit us at a Customer Service Centre before the expiration date to renew your Discount.
Community & Access passes on Para Transpo
Access Pass holders need to pay a top-up to ride Para Transpo:
|Regular (urban) fare zone||$2.40|
In the rural zone, both Community and Access pass holders must pay a flat-rate of $9.50.
