If you take the bus regularly, you will save more money with a monthly or annual bus pass.

Children
Passes are not required for children aged 11 years or younger. If your child appears older, we recommend that you obtain an OC Transpo Child ID (no charge).

Adult Regular
Full fare on red and black routes. On green express routes, add $1.00 or 1 ticket.  On rural express routes, top up is $2.00 or 2 tickets.

Adult Express
Full fare on all regular and express routes. Top up is $1.00 or 1 bus ticket on rural express routes.

Adult Annual
Regular and Express Annual passes.  

Senior Pass
Full fare on all routes.

Student Regular,

Post-secondary Student Semester Regular

Full fare on red and black routes. On green express routes, add $1.00 or 1 ticket.  On rural express routes, top up is $2.00 or 2 tickets.

Community Pass
This discounted 'Community Transit' pass reduces the cost of transit by more than 60% for people with disabilities who also have a low family income.

DayPass
The DayPass entitles you to unlimited same-day travel!  Top up of $1.00 or 1 ticket is required on rural express routes.  On the O-Train, you need a printed DayPass - you cannot use the red voucher only.

On Sundays and statutory holidays, a family can travel all day with one DayPass (includes up to six people, with a maximum of two age 12 or older).

ECOPASS
A new ECOPASS is available through payroll deduction, at selected employers. Call 613-741-4390 for more information.

STO
Information on transferring to or from the STO transit system.

 

Where to Buy Bus Passes
You can buy your passes at OC Transpo's Sales and Information Centres and at hundreds of retail outlets throughout the area.

Passes are usually available starting the 20th of the month.

Passes are only valid from the first day of the month until the last day of the month printed on the pass. 

ID Cards
The appropriate category of OC Transpo photo ID card must match and  accompany your bus pass. 

The photo ID card* can only be purchased at OC Transpo Sales and Information Centres

* Customers requesting a photo ID must provide a photo identification or acceptable signed identification. Those who cannot, should obtain an application for an OC Transpo Identification Card form. (available in .pdf format only)

Student ID cards must be renewed every year. To qualify for a Senior or Student card , you'll need certain documentation. For information call 613-741-4390.  If you use an Adult ID & pass, you don't need to update once a year.

Transfers to and from STO

Validate your Pass
Record your ID Card number onto your pass in ink with large, clear print to validate it. 

Print the Photo ID # on your pass

Place your ID card in the top half of the plastic wallet and the pass portion in the bottom half so the ID numbers line up. 

Write your name  and address on the back of your pass to protect it if it's lost or stolen.
