Rural Express Route 231

Rural Express route 231 and offers service to downtown Ottawa, via Sarsfield, Navan, Notre-Dames-des-Champs, Navan Road, Blackburn Bypass, and Blair Station. 

Connections are available at Hurdman Station for Carleton University and in downtown Ottawa for Gatineau. 

Three trips will run west to downtown Ottawa each morning from Monday to Friday, and two trips will return each afternoon.

Rural express fares will apply.

Park & Ride  
Travelers can park at either of the following carpool lots and have direct downtown bus service via rural express route 231:

  • Navan Memorial Centre and Arena - 
    Park at the north side of the lot closest to Colonial Road. (near the bus stop)

  • Notre-Dame-des-Champs
    Community Centre 
    (3659 Navan Road)

  • The Sarsfield Community Centre, 3585 Sarsfield Road.  Parking is free and can presently accommodate 20 cars.
