The new Millennium Park & Ride lot will open in late fall just east of Trim Road on Millennium Drive near Gisele Lalonde school. The lot will have 168 spaces in phase one and will eventually hold up to 574 vehicles. Service will be provided by Routes 22, 94 and 122.

In addition, service at Place d’Orléans Park & Ride lot will improve with the addition of express routes 20 and 35.

Routes 22, 27 and 32 will have minor
changes as follows:

Routes 20 and 35 will be revised as follows:

Route 22 will travel from Valin and Trim Road, continue west on Valin, then along Portobello to Springridge and the regular route. This change will bring express service closer to residents and provide new service on Valin and Portobello.

Instead of operating on Innes between Provence and Trim, Route 22 will be extended south along Trim Road to Millennium Park & Ride as approved in an earlier Transplan. Innes Road will continue to be served by Route 94, which will be increased in frequency. Service will also be removed from Trim between Valin and Springridge, but will be available nearby on Valin, Portobello and Springridge.

Route 27 will be revised to start at Gardenway and Portobello and travel via Gardenway to Orchardview and the regular routing. Service south of Gardenway, on Orchardview and Esprit, will be provided by revised Route 35.

Orléans at Jeanne d'Arc:
Route 27
will also serve Jeanne d’Arc Station in order to improve connections to Gatineau service for Orléans residents.

Route 32 will be revised to start and end at Des Épinettes and Tenth Line. See revised Route 35 for service south of Innes.

Route 20 will be revised to operate from Portobello via Valin, Varennes, Watters, Montcrest and Princess Louise to Charlemagne and its regular route.

The two branches of Princess Louise Drive will be served by alternate patterns of Route 20. Route 20A will travel along the western part of Princess Louise, between Montcrest and Charlemagne. Route 20B will serve the eastern part of Princess Louise.

Service along sections of Charlemagne will be provided by Routes 20B, 27 and 35. Service on Gardenway and Orchardview will be provided by revised Route 27, giving residents a new, direct connection to Gatineau.

Route 35 will be extended south of Innes along Esprit, Blackburn Bypass, Lakeridge, Harvest Valley and Tenth Line to Lakepointe, bringing downtown express service closer to new residents.

For residents on Lakepointe, Route 35 will be available on Tenth Line at Innes. For residents on Aquaview, Route 35 will be available on Lakeridge at Blackburn.

Routes 30 and 36 will no longer operate, but will be replaced as follows:

Route 30 will be replaced by revised Route 20 along Portobello, Valin, Varennes and Montcrest, and by Route 20B along the eastern part of Princess Louise and Charlemagne.

Route 35 will continue to serve Charlemagne.

Route 36 will be replaced by Route 20 on Montcrest and by Route 20A on Princess Louise. Service will continue to be provided by Route 193 on St. Joseph Blvd. and by Route 22 on Trim Road.

Route 193 will be modified slightly to travel westbound via Centrum, instead of St. Joseph Blvd.

Local Routes

Local bus service in the community east of Tenth Line will be realigned to be more consistent with the express routes, and new routes will be added as shown on the map. Routes will be aligned to operate in two directions rather than circular loops, and Place d’Orléans will be the terminus at the north end of each route.

These changes will result in a faster, more direct trip to Place d’Orléans and will provide new all-day service to growing residential areas.

Route 130 will be unchanged, and four other routes will provide local service through the community: All routes will connect with Route 95 at Place d’Orléans and with Route 94 on Innes for travel to destinations along Innes Road. Routes 120, 135 and 136 will operate via Centrum Blvd. in both directions for improved access to destinations in the area.

New Route 120 will operate seven days a week and follow a pattern similar to Express Route 20, through the centre of the community and along Portobello to Blackburn Bypass at Lakeridge in the south. Route 120 will connect to new Route 136 at Blackburn Bypass, providing a connection to Tenth Line.

New Route 122 will operate seven days a week in the Trim Road/Springridge area, between Millennium Park & Ride and Place d’Orléans, following a pattern similar to Express Route 22.

Route 122 will provide new service along Portobello between Valin and Trim, and on Valin east of Trim Road.

Modified Route 135
will follow a similar pattern to Express Route 35 and will introduce new local service on Lakeridge. Service on Portobello south of Innes, Blackburn, Watters, Montcrest and Princess Louise will be provided by new Route 120.

Modified Route 136 will operate Monday to Saturday along Tenth Line south to the Blackburn Bypass at Lakeridge, where it will connect with new Route 120. Route 136 will maintain service along Tenth Line and connections to shopping, recreation and schools.

For service on Varennes see Route 120, for service on Valin see Route 122, and for service on Gardenway west of Orchardview see Route 135. Service will be removed from Gardenway east of Orchardview, but residents will be within walking distance of Route 135 on Orchardview and Route 120 on Portobello.
