2

Route 2 service west of Westboro Station will be increased to every ten minutes during rush hour and every 12 minutes mid-day. This will streamline service along this corridor and provide a more consistent and reliable service for customers.

Route 2 will no longer be a designated Rack & Roll route.

15

Modified route 15 will continue to operate between downtown and Blair Station serving La Cité collégiale, but will be changed to travel along Matheson, Plumber and Charlton to replace a portion of Route 29. Route 15 will no longer travel west of Rideau Centre.

Riders travelling on Route 15 to will be able to transfer to downtown service at Blair.

Route 15 will no longer operate west of downtown, but will continue to travel between the Rideau Centre and Blair Station in the east end, which will reduce the duplication of service with other routes.

16

Will be extended from Lincoln Fields west to Britannia and will be more frequent, becoming the major cross-town bus service from Britannia and through the residential communities north of Carling Avenue. It will replace the current service provided by Routes 18 and 50 in Britannia Village, and offer more frequent service than either of those routes. Increased frequency on Route 16 will also replace the trips now provided by Route 15.

In Britannia Village Route 16 will follow the same pattern as Route 18 from Lincoln Fields to Britannia Village via Cassels and Bradford, with the exception of service on Regina.

Eastbound morning rush hour trips, which replace Route 50, will also travel via Cassels and Bradford. In addition, rush hour trips will bypass Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre and travel on Croydon for a faster trip to/from Lincoln Fields Station and connections with downtown service.

Service on Route 16 east of downtown to Ottawa Hospital on Smyth Road will be unchanged.

18

Will no longer operate west of downtown, but will continue to travel between LeBreton Station and St. Laurent Station in the east end.

20

Will be revised to operate from Portobello via Valin, Varennes, Watters, Montcrest and Princess Louise to Charlemagne and its regular route.

The two branches of Princess Louise Drive will be served by alternate patterns of Route 20. Route 20A will travel along the western part of Princess Louise, between Montcrest and Charlemagne. Route 20B will serve the eastern part of Princess Louise.

Service along sections of Charlemagne will be provided by Routes 20B, 27 and 35. Service on Gardenway and Orchardview will be provided by revised Route 27, giving residents a new, direct connection to Gatineau.

22

Will travel from Valin and Trim Road, continue west on Valin, then along Portobello to Springridge and the regular route. This change will bring express service closer to residents and provide new service on Valin and Portobello.

Instead of operating on Innes between Provence and Trim, Route 22 will be extended south along Trim Road to Millennium Park & Ride as approved in an earlier Transplan. Innes Road will continue to be served by Route 94, which will be increased in frequency. Service will also be removed from Trim between Valin and Springridge, but will be available nearby on Valin, Portobello and Springridge.

As well, in the morning rush hour, two trips on Route 166 will continue directly to downtown as Route 96 so that passengers on these trips will not have to transfer at Bayshore. High frequency service from Bayshore to downtown is available on Routes 96 and 97, as well as on all the Express buses from Kanata.

In Kanata, Route 101 Sunday service will be cancelled due to declining ridership to the employment area in Kanata North. In addition, two late evening trips Monday through Saturday will be cancelled.

During peak periods, some Route 101 trips will be extended to Kanata to provide increased options and connections for Kanata residents. In the morning rush hour, new eastbound trips will start at Eagleson Park & Ride lot, and in the afternoon, westbound trips will be extended to Teron Station.

118
