Student Semester PassThe Summer Semester pass for post-secondary students is available
until May 23rd. The Semester Pass is valid from May 1- August 31, 2008.

Bus Service

OC Transpo gets you to campus easily with three direct routes, the 4 , 7, and 117. 

Routes 4 and 7 operate seven days a week all day, while route 117 operates Monday to Friday fall through spring.

Park your car at a Park & Ride lot and travel via the Transitway or take the O-Train from the Greenboro park & ride lot.
  

 Route 4 

  • From downtown catch your bus on Rideau St., Wellington St. or on Bank St.

  • From the East travel on route 95 via the Transitway to Hurdman station. In the a.m. peak hours routes, any express route or routes marked downtown will stop at Hurdman station.  At Hurdman, transfer to route 4 Ottawa-Rockcliffe.

  • From the South travel the Transitway with route 97 every 7 or 8 minutes to Billings Bridge or with your local route to Billings Bridge. In the a.m. peak hours any routes marked "downtown" will also stop at Billings Bridge. From Billings Bridge, transfer to route 4 Ottawa-Rockcliffe.  

 Route 7  

  • From the East, West or South travel the Transitway to the intersection of either Bank and Albert or Bank and Slater, transfer on Bank St. to route 7 Carleton.

  • From downtown, catch route 7 on Rideau St. in front of the Bay or on Bank St.

 Route 117  

  • From Baseline Station, located across the street from Algonquin Woodroffe campus, hop on route 117 Carleton.  You can also catch it along Meadowlands.  Route 117 operates Monday to Friday, fall through spring.











O-Train Service  

Connections to the Transitway and regular bus route make light rail an efficient and integrated part of making the trip to Carleton more efficient.

Student Fares & Passes

For your convenience, buy bus tickets and monthly passes on campus at:

  • the Bookstore

  • Unicentre Store

  • Residence Commons info desk

or at over 350 vendors in the city.

The student Semester passes are available at the RRRA office and the Unicentre Store.

The student Annual Passes are only available at OC Transpo Sales and Information centres.

Student Fares & PassesStudent Photo ID's cost $ 5.25 and are available at the Campus Card Office where you get your Carleton student card and also at OC Transpo Sales and Information Centres.

A Carleton University student wishing to purchase an OC Transpo student photo ID must provide the following.

Students on "Carleton Central" can print the Fall/Winter Timetable ( 1.5 or more credits per session is considered full time; same for graduate students) along with their Student Account Summary or they can request a letter on the Universities letterhead confirming their full time status.

Carleton University does provide us with a list of fulltime students. If a customer has proper identification and their name appears on the list provided to us, no other documentation is required.

All of the above documentation must be presented with proper photo id such as a student card, drivers license or passport.

Students 18 years and younger must show student identification and/or proof of age. Students who appear older than 18 will be asked to provide proof of age.
