Unfortunately vandalism and graffiti do happen and have a negative and costly impact. Graffiti is unsightly and takes employees away from legitimate duties. 

Replacing broken shelter glass costs thousands of dollars every year and that’s money that could be better spent elsewhere. 

We’ll do our part, but with a little help from you, our transit system can be cleaner and more secure.

Reward Program

You can help us by reporting incidents to 613-741-2478 or CRIME STOPPERS at 613-233-8477 (you don’t have to give your name). In turn, we’ll respond as quickly as we can to clean up the situation and make your transit environment more enjoyable. 

A reward of up to $500 is given to anyone for a report that leads to a conviction.
    

Penalties

Depending upon the offence, someone caught in the act can be fined or arrested on the spot by our Transit Special Constables. 

Consequences for offenders can include a court appearance and fine up to $5,000.
