OC Transpo and Ottawa Rapidz have teamed up to offer a special transportation deal for baseball fans who want to avoid driving and parking hassles on game days. Fans who buy their Ottawa Rapidz baseball tickets online will get a bonus transit ticket that will get them onto OC Transpo for service to and from the game. OC Transpo will also provide special frequent shuttles from Hurdman Station to the Ottawa Stadium, to make it more convenient for transferring customers.

The Rapidz transit ticket will be valid starting two hours before the game and customers can use it on any bus route. The special shuttles will leave Hurdman Station from stop 1C every seven or eight minutes, starting an hour before the game. The shuttle ride takes about five minutes from Hurdman to the stadium. After the game, buses will be waiting at the stadium to take customers back to Hurdman Station.

To catch the shuttle at Hurdman Station, fans can take Transitway routes 95, 96 or 97, which have frequent service and serve Park & Ride lots with free parking. Routes 3, 18 and 111 also travel within walking distance of the stadium. For more routing options and detailed travel planning, customers can phone 613-741 4390 or use the Travel Planner.
