This memo is to advise the Mayor and Members of Council that beginning today OC Transpo is now publishing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on octranspo.com.
KPIs on ridership, service reliability, O-Train service delivery, Para Transpo ridership and Para Transpo on-time performance are now available on the commitment to transparency page in line with the City’s commitment to transparency and to continue to support members of Council, media and the public in accessing information on transit services. The KPIs will be updated monthly, with the next update on June 26. In the near future, this information will also be available through the City of Ottawa’s Open Data portal, and staff are working to add more KPIs to the website.
Staff will continue to present and respond to any questions regarding operational KPIs as part of the OC Transpo update at scheduled Transit Committee meetings. This new process is in line with OC Transpo’s commitment to transparency and ensures more direct and regular access to performance metrics for Council, customers, and residents.
