Do you have a full day of activities planned for your family? Consider getting a Family DayPass.

It is currently available for purchase and use until Friday, January 7, 2022.

  • Travel with up to 6 members (maximum of two members aged 13 years or older)
  • Use on OC Transpo buses and trains
  • Eligible for use on Saturdays, Sundays, and select holidays (including the first week of the New Year)
  • Valid all day with unlimited transfers
  • Purchaseable from a ticket machine or on the bus

On STO routes, the Family DayPass is only accepted to pay a single person’s fare.

How to get a Family DayPass

Ticket machines

All ticket machines are located near fare gates, outside of fare-paid zones at all O-Train stations. Cash, coins, credit, and debit are accepted forms of purchase.

Load a Family DayPass onto your Presto card or purchase a paper ticket.

How to use Presto card and paper ticket

On the bus

Board a bus at the front doors. Request a Family DayPass from the bus driver, then:

  1. the bus driver will load the fare onto your card. Tap your Presto card; or,
  2. deposit the exact amount of cash and coins  into the fare box. The driver and fare box cannot give change. The fare box will print out a paper ticket.
