Improved weekday frequency on O-Train Line 1 and an earlier start to weekday service on O-Train Line 2

Enhanced O-Train service
Line 1 will continue running double-car train service during the week, with increased frequency adding over 90 departures to the schedule every weekday:
- Every 4 minutes at peak periods (previously 5)
- Every 6 minutes midday (previously 10)
- Every 7 minutes in the early evening (previously 10)
- 15 double-car trains at peak travel times
Line 2 weekday service will start earlier:
- First trains at 6 am from Limebank Station and 6:05 am from Carleton Station.
New express bus service
- Seven new peak-period Express routes will serve Park & Ride lots, key employment areas, and O-Train Line 1 stations, providing direct service with limited stops along the way
- Express bus routes offer faster travel times for customers at the same fare as regular service
- Express trips will be clearly designated on signage and at stations, with route numbers in the 500s using a distinct orange route icon

- Save up to 10 minutes a day with new Express routes from Kanata Park & Ride lots to Tunney's Pasture Station:
- Route 561 connecting Terry Fox and Eagleson stations to Tunney's Pasture Station
- Route 562 connecting Terry Fox and Eagleson stations to Tunney's Pasture Station
- Route 563 connecting Innovation and Eagleson stations to Tunney's Pasture Station
- Route 565 connecting Innovation, Terry Fox, and Eagleson stations to DND Carling Campus
- New express bus trips from Tunney's Pasture Station to DND Carling Campus and Kanata North:
- Route 566 connecting Tunney's Pasture Station and DND Carling Campus, with select morning trips extended to Innovation Station
- See all Service to DND Carling Campus
- More trips between Innovation Station in Kanata North and Tunney's Pasture Station
- More trips to Tunney's Pasture Station from Park & Ride lots in Barrhaven
- Some trips on routes 74 75 561 562 and 563 will extend directly into Gatineau, improving travel times for customers who will no longer need to transfer
- One new trip on Route 256 to Tunney's Pasture Station
- More reliable service and schedules on Routes 11 51 53 61 63 73 75 81 82 85 88 117 163 168 and 173
East bus service improvements
- Save up to 20 minutes a day with new express trips from east-end Park & Ride lots to Blair Station:
- More trips on Route 226 between Blackburn Hamlet and Blair Station
- One new trip on the E1 Shuttle Express from Blair Station in the morning
- More reliable service and schedules on Routes 12 15 20 25 and 30
Central and south bus service improvements
- More bus service to O-Train Line 1 from Park & Ride lots at Baseline and Greenboro stations
- Additional trips on:
- More reliable service and schedules on Routes 5 6 7 9 11 12 14 15 18 19 and 117
New connections to Gatineau
- Some trips on routes 74 75 561 562 and 563 will continue to Gatineau from Tunney's Pasture Station. These will offer a direct connection from Kanata and Barrhaven, saving you 10+ minutes each day. No need to transfer!
Improved reliability
- Ongoing monitoring of transit operations to adjust service where it’s needed most
- New electric bus fleet to provide customers with clean, comfortable trips
- Improved maintenance to keep vehicles in service

Para Transpo service improvements
- Increasing Para Transpo trip availability and improving customer experience by adding new 6 metre and 7 metre minibuses to the fleet
- NEW late-night service pilot:
- Starting September 4, Para Transpo service will be extended on Friday and Saturday nights to 2 am
- Supporting more spontaneity for Para Transpo customers is in line with our Customer-First Action Plan
