Bus service changes

Once we open O-Train Lines 2 and 4, significant changes are coming to our bus network. These updates are a direct result of your valuable feedback we collected during the 2023 Bus Route Review! Many bus routes will be modified, some removed, renumbered, and entirely new routes will be added for improved connectivity. For a smooth transition, explore the details of the new bus network New Ways to Bus page.

New trains

Learn about your new ride. Experience a modern commute with the new Stadler FLIRT train on Line 2 and Alstom Lint train on Line 4 to the Ottawa International Airport. We're increasing capacity on Lines 1 and 3 with more Alstom Citadis Spirit trains. The O-Train Extension will provide smoother, more comfortable rides across the city.

New destinations

Explore Ottawa's vibrant neighbourhoods with ease. The O-Train will serve new destinations for foodies, window-shoppers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Students can also enjoy stops at Carleton University, Algonquin College, and uOttawa. Families get access to museums and parks without the parking hassle.

Seamless connections

Your O-Train network offers effortless and free transfers between O-Train lines and buses. This makes navigating the city affordable and simple. Cyclist-friendly amenities, new pathways, and easy access for pedestrians ensure a seamless journey every step of the way.
