While traveling at a low speed at Albion Yard Maintenance and Storage Facility, a ballast regulator (maintenance vehicle) derailed. There were no injuries and no damage.
While travelling at a low speed at Belfast Yard Maintenance and Storage Facility, a hi-rail truck (a vehicle modified to operate both on conventional roads and on railways) derailed. There were no injuries and no damage.
At the end of regular service hours at Tremblay Station, a passenger fell into the delineator poles, (which are yellow, flexible, plastic poles that protect the coupled area of the train) and then fell onto the tracks between two train cars. The train then departed the station and made contact with the individual, who sustained a serious leg injury. The Special Constable Unit and Paramedic Services responded to Tremblay Station. The individual was then transported to hospital.
