What is Transit app?
Transit is our preferred mobile app for navigating public transit.
The free-to-download app is available on iOS and Android devices.
Transit app lets you:
- Plan your trip
- Check departure times for buses and the O-Train
- Track your vehicle while you wait at your stop
- Sign up to receive service alert notifications on your device
- Plan trips combining OC Transpo and STO services
We have partnered with Transit to provide Ottawa users with free access to the Royale subscription.
App users must download a later version (5.14.7 or higher) of the app to receive the Royale upgrade. You will be able to access the subscription's additional features right away.
What is the Royale subscription?
Transit Royale adds additional features to Transit:
- Access to a wider geographical area for real-time bus tracking
- Full transit schedule instead of only short-term departures
- Fun, interactive features such as theme options, custom avatar and nickname, and more!
