Notice of Overnight Hydrovac - Richmond Road

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, hydrovac trucks will be operating overnight on Richmond Road between Ancaster Avenue and Allison Avenue. Residents are advised to expect elevated noise levels throughout the night during this work. Night work is required in this situation to minimize impacts to the businesses located between 1025 and 979 Richmond Road as access to these properties will be interrupted or reduced throughout the operation. Efforts will be made to complete this work and remove the hydrovac trucks from the area as quickly as possible. We thank all residents for their continued patience and understanding during this ongoing construction.

Noise and vibration from crews and other vehicles/equipment can be expected. All construction vehicles and equipment working overnight will be equipped with broadband back-up alarms.

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
