As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling south on Pinecrest Road at the Highway 417 should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:  
Overnight Closure of the on-ramp from southbound Pinecrest Road to westbound Highway 417.

When: 
Thursday, February 19 at 11:00 p.m. until Friday, February 20 at 5:00 a.m.

Why:   
Highway lighting repair.

Where:
Pinecrest Road at Highway 417.

Detour

Motorists wishing to access westbound Highway 417 from southbound Pinecrest Road will proceed south on Pinecrest Road / Greenbank Road to Baseline Road. They will turn left on Baseline Road and travel east toward Woodroffe Avenue. They will turn left and travel north to use the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp at Woodroffe Avenue.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
