Notice of Road Closure: Corkstown Road
July 2025
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorist travelling on Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Crystal Beach Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What: Full closure of Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Crystal Beach Drive.
When: Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, daily from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why: Replacement of underground electrical utilities.
Where: Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Crystal Beach Drive. Detour signage will be in place to direct motorists.

Detour
Motorists wishing to access Corkstown Road from Moodie Drive will proceed north on Moodie Drive to Carling Avenue. They will then turn right onto Carling Avenue and proceed east until reaching Corkstown Road.
Motorists wishing to access Moodie Drive via Corkstown Road will proceed westbound on Carling Avenue until reaching Moodie Drive.
Anticipated Impacts
- Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
- Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
