Oct 16 - Nov 10: Tenth Line Road westbound Highway 174 on-ramp - Full Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Extension project, motorists travelling southbound on Tenth Line Road should anticipate mobility impacts.

What: 

The highway 174 westbound on-ramp accessible to motorists travelling southbound on Tenth Line Road will be fully closed. The westbound Highway 174 on-ramp on the east side of Tenth Line Road as well as the eastbound Highway 174 on-ramps remain open.

When:         

Monday, October 16 at 6:00 a.m. until Friday, November 10 at 8:00 p.m.

Why:         

Storm sewer installation.

Where:        

Tenth Line Road at Highway 174.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour

Motorists travelling southbound on Tenth Line Road will continue south to St. Joseph Boulevard, travel west on St. Joseph Boulevard to Place d’Orléans Drive and then proceed north on Place d’Orléans Drive to Champlain Street. Motorists will then travel north on Champlain Street and enter Highway 174 using the westbound Champlain Street on-ramp.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
