Overview

The Alstom Coradia LINT trains primarily serve Line 4 connecting South Keys Station to Ottawa International Airport via Uplands Station.

These trains also run sometimes on Line 2 (Bayview to Limebank via downtown and Ottawa South), though that line is mainly served by Stadler FLIRT trains.

The Coradia LINT runs about every 12 minutes on Line 4. Each train has two connected cars, making it around 41 metres long, with space for up to 262 passengers.

Fast, light, and modern

The acronym LINT stands for the German "Leichter Innovativer Nahverkehrs-Triebwagen," which means "light innovative local-transport rail vehicle."

Six two-car trains have been in service since March 2015. Four trains run during regular service and two are held as backups.
