To better accommodate our commuters, we introduced a new express shuttle bus service last summer. This service operates alongside Line 1.
Our Shuttle Express service connects Blair to Lyon station during peak travel time on weekdays. This means you'll have a direct ride from Blair to downtown in the morning, and a smooth journey back to Blair in the afternoon.
The express service, known as E1, is designed to provide a more direct and efficient transit alternative. By bypassing intermediate stops, it significantly reduces travel time to and from the downtown core.
Blair to Lyon: From Blair Station, turn right to Gloucester Centre roadway, right to Blair, right to Highway 417, exit at Nicholas, left onto Mackenzie King Bridge, continue to Albert then Lyon station.
Lyon to Blair: From Slater and Lyon, continue to Slater, continue to Mackenzie King Bridge, turn right to Nicholas, continue to Nicholas, continue to Highway 417 east, continue to 174 and exit from blair, continue to Blair, turn left to Gloucester, left into Blair Station.

If rail service is disrupted, technicians will quickly respond. Our aim is to restore train service as quickly as possible. This is less disruptive to customers. If the issue is resolved within 15 minutes, train service will resume with only minor delays.
Sometimes, trains can continue to run along a single track. If full train service is not quickly restored, R1 replacement bus service may be deployed.
We will notify you in advance of any planned Line 1 maintenance. R1 schedules will be entered in the Travel Planner.
Real-time departure times will also be available:
