Corkstown Road Eastbound from Moodie to Crystal Beach - Long Duration Closure - Sept. 13 to Dec. 2025
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Crystal Beach Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities. Eastbound Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Crystal Beach Drive will be fully closed to traffic. Westbound Corkstown Road will remain open. A detour will be in effect for eastbound traffic.
What:
Full closure of eastbound Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Crystal Beach Drive.
When:
Saturday, September 13 at 6 a.m. until December 2025.
Why:
Various scopes of work at the Corkstown / Moodie intersection, including electrical and civil work.
Where:
Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and Crystal Beach Drive. Detour signage will be in place to direct motorists.

Detour
Motorists wishing to access Corkstown Road from Moodie Drive will proceed north on Moodie Drive to Carling Avenue. They will then turn right onto Carling Avenue and proceed east until reaching Corkstown Road.
Anticipated Impacts
- Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
- Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
