As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 westbound between Champlain Street and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Full closure of Highway 174 westbound between Champlain Street and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard. Westbound Highway 174 on-ramps at Champlain Street will also be closed.

When:         
Wednesday, June 4 from 10:00 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 5.  

Why:           
Crane delivery and setup. 

Where:        
Highway 174 westbound between Champlain Street and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists travelling westbound on Highway 174 will exit at Champlain Street, proceed north on Champlain Street to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, continue westbound on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, and then re-enter Highway 174 using the westbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard on-ramp.

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
