As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling westbound on Highway 417 between Pinecrest Road and Bayshore Drive and north on Greenbank Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:     
Overnight lane reductions on Highway 417 westbound between Pinecrest Road and Bayshore Drive as well as a full closure of the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from northbound Greenbank Road.

When:    
Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28 nightly from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.

Why:      
Temporary concrete barrier (TCB) relocation and line painting.

Where:   
Highway 417 Westbound from Pinecrest Road/Greenbank Road to Bayshore.

Detour
Motorists travelling northbound on Greenbank Road looking to take Highway 417 westbound will continue to Richmond Road and turn left. They will then access Highway 417 westbound using the on-ramp from Richmond Road.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
