Notice of Lane Reduction and Ramp Closure: Highway 174 Westbound between Trim Road and Tenth Line Road - Oct 6-10, 14-16, 20, 27-31

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 westbound at Trim Road, and north of the Highway at Trim Road, should anticipate mobility impacts.
What:
Highway 174 westbound will have a lane reduction between Trim Road and Tenth Line Road. In addition, the right-turn lane from southbound Trim Road to westbound Highway 174 (north of Highway 174), will be closed.
When:
Nightly from Monday, October 6 to Friday, October 10, Tuesday, October 14 to Thursday October 16, Monday, October 20, and Monday October 27 to Friday October 31 between 9:00 p.m. each night and 5:30 a.m. the following day.

Where:
Highway 174 westbound from Trim Road to Tenth Line Road.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detours
Motorists north of Highway 174 at Trim Road looking to travel west on Highway 174 will travel west on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Tenth Line Road and connect with Highway 174 westbound at the Tenth Line Road interchange.
Alternatively, motorists north of Highway 174 at Trim Road looking to travel west on Highway 174 will travel south on Trim Road to St. Joseph Boulevard. They will turn right and travel west on St. Joseph Boulevard to Tenth Line Road. They will turn left and travel north on Tenth Line Road to connect with Highway 174 westbound using the Tenth Line Road on-ramp.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
