Notice of Lane Reductions and Ramp Closure: Highway 174 and Tenth Line Road
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 at Tenth Line Road as well as south of Highway 174 in the Tenth Line Road area should anticipate mobility impacts.
What:
Lane closure on Highway 174 eastbound and westbound just east of Tenth Line Road. The Highway 174 eastbound on ramp from St. Joseph Boulevard will also be closed.
When:
Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20
- Lane closure on Highway 174 eastbound and westbound - 7:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the following day.
- Highway 174 eastbound on-ramp from St. Joseph Boulevard - 9:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. the following day.
Why:
Variable message sign installation.
Where:
Highway 174 at Tenth Line Road.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists south of Highway 174 in the Tenth Line Road area looking to access Highway 174 eastbound will travel east on St. Joseph Boulevard to enter Highway 174 using the eastbound Trim Road on-ramp.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
