Notice of Long-duration Lane Reduction: Baxter Road
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, a single lane of alternating traffic (SLAT) will be in place on Baxter Road between the south access to the Pinecrest Shopping Centre and the business park on the east end of the street. Signage will be onsite to direct traffic accordingly.
What:
A single lane of alternating traffic will be in place on Baxter Road.
When:
Tuesday, March 31 at 6:30 a.m. through to Tuesday, April 7 at 5:00 p.m.
Why:
Paving curb cuts and fine grading.
Where:
Baxter Road, east of the Pinecrest Shopping Centre.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should expect some delays when travelling through the area.
Residents living in the vicinity of Baxter Road may experience noise from equipment working in the area.
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
