As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists wishing to access westbound Highway 417 from Greenbank Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities. Detours will be in effect.

What:     
Overnight closure of the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from northbound Greenbank road.

When:    
Wednesday, September 24 at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Thursday, September 25.

Why:      
Relocation of temporary concrete barriers (TCBs).

Where:   
Highway 417 at Pinecrest Road.

Detour
Overnight closure of the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from northbound Greenbank road.

Motorists wishing to access westbound Highway 417 from northbound Greenbank Road will continue north on Pinecrest Road until reaching Richmond Road. They will turn left onto Richmond Road and continue southbound until reaching the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
