Notice of Overnight Ramp Closure: Highway 417 at Pinecrest Road - Sept 22

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists wishing to access westbound Highway 417 from Pinecrest Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities. Detours will be in effect.

What:     
Overnight closure of the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp at Pinecrest Road.

When:    
Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from southbound Pinecrest Road: Monday, September 22 at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23.

Why:      
Installation of gate foundations on the on-ramp.

Where:   
Highway 417 at Pinecrest Road.

Overnight Detour

Motorists wishing to access westbound Highway 417 from southbound Pinecrest Road will continue south on Greenbank Road until reaching Baseline Road. They will turn left onto Baseline Road and continue eastbound until reaching Woodroffe Avenue. They will then turn left and continue northbound on Woodroffe Avenue until reaching the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
