Notice of Overnight Work and Road Closure: Corkstown Road

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Corkstown Road west of Moodie Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What: Full closure of a small section of Corkstown Road between Moodie Drive and March Road.
Note, all of Wesley Clover Parks accesses will remain open throughout the closure.
When: Sunday, July 13 at 10:00 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 14.
Why: Temporary concrete barrier (TCB) relocation.
Where: Corkstown Road west of Moodie Drive.
Detours
Motorists in the Moodie Drive or March Road area have the option of using Carling Avenue and Herzberg Drive or Timm Drive to detour around the closure on Corkstown Road West.
Anticipated Impacts
- Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
- Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount,
