Notice of Ramp Closure and Lane Reduction: Highway 174 and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard - Oct 25-26

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on westbound Highway 174 and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:    
Lane reduction on westbound Highway 174 and full closure of Highway 174 westbound on-ramp from northbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

When:   
Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Why:     
Paving curb cuts.

Where: 
Highway 174 and Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

Detour

Motorists in the Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard area south of Highway 174 can access westbound Highway 174 by travelling north on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard over the Highway. They will then use the roundabout to travel south on Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to the Highway 174 westbound on-ramp from southbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place to ensure safety.
