As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists looking to travel westbound on Highway 174 in the Place d’Orléans area should anticipate mobility impacts.

What:    
Closure of the Highway 174 westbound on-ramp from northbound Champlain Street/Place d’Orléans Drive.

When:   
Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.

Why:     
Subdrain installation.

Where: 
Highway 174 westbound at Champlain Street.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour

Motorists south of Highway 174 at Champlain Street/Place d’Orléans Drive will travel west on St. Joseph Boulevard to Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard where they can access westbound Highway 174.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
