As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists wishing to access Highway 417 westbound from southbound Moodie Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:
Closure of the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from southbound Moodie Drive.

When: 
Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from southbound Moodie Drive will be closed on Monday, March 23 & Tuesday, March 24 from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Why: 
Cable pull for highway lighting.

Where: 
Highway 417 at Moodie Drive.

Detour

Motorists looking to access westbound Highway 417 from southbound Moodie Drive will continue south on Moodie Drive until reaching Robertson Road. They will turn right onto Robertson Road and continue west to Eagleson Road where they will turn right and continue north until reaching the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp.

Anticipated Impacts

  • Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
  • Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
