As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists wishing to access Corkstown Road East from Moodie Drive as well as motorists travelling north on Moodie Drive at Corkstown Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

When:
Monday, November 24 to Friday November 28, and Monday December 1 to Wednesday December 3 between 9:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m.

Why:
Temporary concrete barrier (TCB) and pin curb relocation and concrete work.

Where:
Corkstown Road East between Moodie Drive and Abbott Private and northbound Moodie Drive. Detour signage will be in place to direct motorists.

Detour

Motorists needing to access Moodie Drive from Corkstown Road will travel east on Corkstown Road to Carling Avenue, where they will turn right to travel east towards Holly Acres Road. They will then turn right to travel south on Holly Acres Road. They will turn right to travel west on Richmond Road / Robertson Road and then turn right to travel north on Moodie Drive.

Alternatively, motorists can travel east on Corkstown Road to Carling Avenue, where they will turn left to travel west on Carling Avenue. They will then turn left to travel south on Moodie Drive.

Motorists on Moodie Drive looking to access Moodie Drive north of Corkstown Road will travel south to Robertson Road. They will turn left on Richmond Road and travel east to Holly Acres Road. They will turn left and travel north to Carling Avenue and then west on Carling Avenue to Moodie Drive.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount,
and we thank you for your patience during construction.
