Dear Residents,

As a part of the Stage 2 O-Train Project, the sidewalk on Byron Avenue at Sherbourne Road will be closed to allow for utility installation. A pedestrian detour will be in place during the construction activities.

What: 
Sidewalk closure on Byron Avenue at Sherbourne Road

When: 
As early as Monday, March 23 until Friday, April 3

Why: 
Underground utility works and camera pole installation.

Where: 
Byron Avenue at Sherbourne Road

Detour Route

Pedestrians will travel eastbound on Byron Avenue to Cleary Avenue, crossing north to Richmond Road and travel westbound on Richmond Road until the pedestrian crossing at 855 Richmond Road.

Anticipated Impacts

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
