Pinecrest Road between Dumaurier Avenue and Highway 417 - Sidewalk Closure - August 29 to October 29

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, a section of the west sidewalk on Pinecrest Road between Dumaurier Avenue and Highway 417 will be closed. A pedestrian detour will be in place.

What:     
Long-term closure of the west sidewalk on Pinecrest Road between Dumaurier Avenue and Highway 417.

When:    
Friday, August 29 at 6 a.m. until Wednesday, October 29.

Why:      
Intersection construction.

Where:   
Pinecrest Road between Dumaurier Avenue and Highway 417.

Pedestrian Detour
Pedestrians using the west sidewalk on Pinecrest Road will need to follow the detour signs and cross to the east side of the street at either Dumaurier Avenue or at the Transitway intersection just to the north of Highway 417.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.

The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
