Starting June 10- Notice of Overnight Work: Kichi Zìbì Mìkan at Lanark Avenue

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, overnight work will take place to complete repairs on the Westboro Beach Pedestrian Underpass under the Kichi Zìbì Mìkan at Lanark Avenue. Pedestrian and cyclist traffic will be stopped briefly at the beginning and end of each overnight shift to deliver/remove equipment as needed. During the repair work, one lane of the multi-use pathway under the Kichi Zìbì Mìkan will remain open for use.

Starting on Monday, June 10 from 7 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. nightly, for approximately two weeks until work is complete (expected by late June).
Why:
Repairs to the Westboro Beach Pedestrian Underpass.
Where:
Kichi Zìbì Mìkan at Lanark Avenue.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Anticipated Impacts
Work crews will be working inside the underpass and will not be working on the Kichi Zìbì Mìkan.
Site lighting will be in place for overnight work and all lighting will be pointed away from residences.
Some noise from generators and other equipment may be audible.
A manlift equipped with broadband backup alarms may be required for this operation. 
Residents should expect to see some light duty truck traffic (i.e. pickup trucks).

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety. Motor vehicle traffic is not expected to be impacted.
The safety of the public and workers is paramount, and we thank you for your patience during construction.
