Trim Road Southbound at Highway 174 - Overnight Closure - May 28, June 2
As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling on Trim Road south of the Highway 174 interchange should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.
What:
Full closure of southbound Old Trim Road from south of Highway 174 to the northernmost traffic circle.
When:
Wednesday, May 28 at 8:00 p.m. until Thursday, May 29 at 5:30 a.m. and Monday, June 2 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, June 3 at 5:30 a.m.
Why:
Milling prior to final paving.
Where:
Trim Road at the Highway 174 interchange.
The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Detour
Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 looking to access Trim Road will exit at Tenth Line Road.
Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change
Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place to ensure safety.
