OC Transpo is committed to providing public transit services that are accessible to everyone.

Bus and O-Train


All of OC Transpo buses and the O-Train are now low-floor equipped, 100% accessible, and include the automated Next Stop Announcement System (NSAS).

OC Transpo offers a number of accessibility services and features that make taking the bus and O-Train (also known as conventional transit) easier.

Conventional transit follows regular schedules and routes, and offers you the freedom of travelling at your convenience. To use the bus and O-Train, you must be able to get to and from the stop, and be able to board on your own or with the help of a support person.

Para Transpo


Para Transpo provides a door-to-door transportation service to eligible customers who are temporarily or permanently unable to take conventional transit because of their disability.

Even if you are registered on Para Transpo, you can still use conventional transit without affecting your eligibility. Regular fares would apply when using conventional transit buses.

Registered Para Transpo customers can ride the O-Train for FREE -- but remember to be prepared to provide your registration number to Fare Inspectors.

Elevators and escalators are important features providing you access to some of our stations and platforms, so please check the elevator status, before leaving home.
