⛄ Winter service change ⛄

Winter service begins Sunday, December 21

Regular schedule adjustments take place four times a year – spring, summer, fall, and winter. This winter, changes in service reflect expected changes in ridership when workers may be on vacation and schools are closed. Other service reliability improvements for buses may include:

  • Increased frequency
  • Direct O-Train connections
  • Extended or added trips

🆕560-1000 📱 is getting an upgrade!

We’re connecting the 560-1000 line to our GTFS real-time feed for more accurate next-departure information.

  • New: Calls now indicate cancelled trips and real-time arrivals.
  • How it works: Call 613-560-1000 and enter your four-digit stop number to hear the next two or three departure times, including updates such as cancellations or detours.

New Para Transpo vehicles continue to enter service

It’s been a busy summer for Para Transpo team as more new vehicles for the Para Transpo fleet continue to arrive in Ottawa!

From an order of 82 vehicles for Para Transpo service, including 6 six-metre and 76 seven-metre minibuses, we’ve received 24 vehicles as of the time of writing.

Summer service change begins Sunday, June 29

These adjustments reflect seasonal changes in ridership. Use the Travel Planner or Transit app to check if your regular trips are affected.

Highlights

  • Routes 8, 25, 33, 63, 70, 74, and 110 may have trips added or adjusted.
  • School service removed.
  • Weekend service to summer destinations on Routes 8, 125, and 139 return.

Billings Bridge east access closure

Friday, November 22 at 9:30 am to Wednesday, December 4 at 7:00 am

Some routes will be detoured due to the closure of Billings Bridge Station east access on Bank Street for the Bank Street Reconstruction Project.

Please allow a few extra minutes for your travels.

We have retired our OC Transpo app for iOS and partnered with Transit to provide Ottawa users with free access to the Royale subscription.

You will be able to access the subscription's additional features immediately, as long as you have the latest version of the app.

All fare readers on buses and fare gates at O-Train stations now support payment by debit card, credit card and mobile wallet with O-Payment!

  • Interac® Debit card
  • Visa card
  • Mastercard
  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay

Register for an O-Payment account to track your trips, payments, or print receipts. Before registering, or to add a new card to an existing account, you must first complete a trip on O-Train or a bus using a debit, card, credit card or mobile wallet.
