Ottawa Public Health strongly encourages use of masks on transit

Stations: All Stations

Date effective: June 11, 2022

The Province of Ontario has announced the provincial mask requirement on public transit will end on Saturday, June 11. Ottawa Public Health continues to strongly encourage everyone to wear masks on buses, trains, Para Transpo minibuses and taxis, and in stations and shelters. OC Transpo continues to follow public health advice.

We understand this will be a significant change for both customers and employees. As we adjust to this situation, we ask everyone to be kind and respectful of one another.

Starting June 11, we will begin to remove signage indicating the mask requirement from all vehicles and property. You may see some signs in the following days, as it will take some time to completely remove all signs.
