February 20, 26 - Highway 174 at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard - Overnight Full Closure

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

Highway 174 Westbound
What:          
Full closure of Highway 174 westbound. The westbound Highway 174 on-ramp from Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard northbound will also be closed.

When:         
Tuesday, February 20 at 10:30 p.m. until Wednesday, February 21 at 5:30 a.m.

Why:           
Bridge concrete work.

Where:          
Highway 174 westbound at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

Highway 174 Eastbound
What:          
Full closure of Highway 174 eastbound. The eastbound Highway 174 on-ramp from Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard southbound will also be closed and will remain closed until April 25 while other work is completed in the area.

When:         
Monday, February 26 at 10:30 p.m. to Tuesday, February 27 at 5:30 a.m.

Why:           
Bridge concrete work.

Where:          
Highway 174 eastbound at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detours
Highway 174 Westbound – Motorists travelling westbound on Highway 174 will exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, cross over Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, and re-enter Highway 174 using the Highway 174 westbound on-ramp.

Highway 174 Eastbound – Motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will exit at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, cross over Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, and re-enter Highway 174 using the Highway 174 eastbound on-ramp.

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
