As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 eastbound between Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and Place d’Orléans Drive should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:           

  • Full closure of Highway 174 eastbound on-ramp from southbound Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard.
  • Slow lane reductions at Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard, Orleans Boulevard and Place d’Orléans Drive.

When:         
Saturday, July 12 and Saturday, July 19 between 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., each day.

Why:       
Concrete pours for bullnose construction and lighting repair. 

Where:        
Highway 174 eastbound between Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard to Place d’Orléans Drive.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
Motorists in the Jeanne d’Arc area north of Highway 174 can access eastbound Highway 174 by using the Highway 174 eastbound on-ramp at Tenth Line Road.

Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
