Hwy 174 Eastbound Left Turn Lane Closure at Trim - April 30 to May 29

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists travelling Highway 174 eastbound at Trim Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction activities.

What:          
Highway 174 eastbound left turn lane closure to Trim Road.

When:         
Wednesday, April 30 at 6:00 a.m. until Thursday, May 29 at 5:00 p.m.

Why:           
Various scopes of work including civil work, structure work, track work, electrical work, and flatworks.

Where:          
Highway 174 eastbound at Trim Road.

The construction work outlined in this notice is subject to change. Work may be delayed or extended due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Detour
To access Trim Road north of Highway 174, motorists travelling eastbound on Highway 174 will take the Trim Road off-ramp. They will travel south to the first traffic circle and then proceed north on Trim Road through the intersection to access Trim Road north of Highway 174.

Anticipated Impacts 
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.
